The Galakhudat–Griz trail takes you across some of the most scenic highlands of the Caucasus. Starting from Galakhudat, a picturesque mountain village known for its panoramic views, the route leads through wide plateaus, alpine meadows, and dramatic cliffs before reaching Griz — a historic settlement perched high in the mountains. Along the way, hikers enjoy untouched landscapes, fresh mountain air, and the chance to discover the traditional lifestyle of one of Azerbaijan’s most remote communities.
