Starting from Khinalig — one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited mountain villages — you’ll hike through breathtaking valleys, lush meadows, and dramatic peaks before arriving in the picturesque village of Galakhudat. Along the way, you’ll experience not only stunning nature but also the rich culture and traditions of mountain life that have remained unchanged for centuries. Drive through scenic landscapes to Guba/Khinalig.
Transfer to an off-road vehicle, continue to the mountain village of Khinalig (in winter).

Hike to Galakhudat village. We will regularly stop either to take photos or to enjoy the views.
Traditional lunch and tea break in a village house in Galakhudat.
Drive back to Baku, hotel drop-off.
The trail is easy, suitable for hikers with a basic level of fitness. Some steep sections could be a little bit challenging, but there are few of them.
The hike usually takes 2–4 hours depending on pace, weather, and group size.
Late spring to early autumn (May–October) is the best time, when the weather is mild and the scenery is most beautiful. However, winter also has specific snowy mountains views which makes the trail unique.
No technical gear is required, but comfortable mountain shoes, trekking poles, and seasonal clothing are recommended.

Yes, traditional meals are provided. Vegan and vegetarian options are possible.
Yes, beginners can join if they are in good health and comfortable with a few hours of walking in mountain terrain (2000+ meters above sea level).
Transportation from and back to Baku (Hotel pick up and drop-off) is included in the price. Depending on weather and road conditions, it may be possible to transfer by off-road vehicle from Guba to Khinalig and from Galakhudat back to Guba, it will have no effect on price.
